E Tipu e Rea is thrilled to be able to offer regular hapūtanga wānanga for hapū māmā, partners and whānau tautoko.
Our hapūtanga wānanga are led by Jo Rama an experienced and qualified Māori midwife. Jo focuses her wānanga on trusting our bodies to birth our babies, what to expect during childbirth, physical and mental health during hapūtanga, breastfeeding, sleep for baby, the role of pāpā, and matauranga Māori concepts on parenting, birthing, and much more.
Any questions whānau have on their hapūtanga – Jo will have the answers. We encourage sharing your hapūtanga journey with pāpā or a support person/whānau. Nau mai haere mai e te whānau.
You do not have to be registered with our service to attend. If you would like to attend the next wānanga please complete our registration form and we will get back to you with times and dates.
Dates and times are below and will be held at our E Tipu e Rea Whānau office. We are also considering holding them in Glen Innes.
Register and we will keep you posted.
