Resources for whānau, parents, and caregivers

If you or loved one has become, or is about to become, a teen parent, know that there are dedicated support networks available who can help  whilst also facilitating positive relationships within the wider whānau. Our continued work has seen that young parents fare best when they have heaps of tautoko from whānau, professionals and peers.

We’re proud to offer a library of helpful resources for teen parents and their parents or caregivers to help guide them in the right direction and to enact their rangatiratanga.

Our free resources include:

  • Pregnancy and childbirth guidance
  • Parenting programs
  • Parenting books
  • Support for dads
  • Research into initiatives for Māori parents
  • Cybersafety
  • Action plans to promote wellbeing

Our resources and initiatives are backed by ongoing research into teen pregnancy through a kaupapa Māori and tikanga lens, and are regularly updated to stay current in alignment with societal changes and new statistical data.

Our holistic framework of resources, programs, and workshops equips our rangatahi with the tools and skills to succeed and thrive, as individuals and as a whānau.
